§ Participated in all aspects of the integration of eight acquisitions.  This included the review of all applications for the businesses      

§ Determine all authentication and authorization methods for each application  and source of identities for the migration of identities to Aetna sources 

§ Flag all applications that do not comply with current Aetna standards 

§ Review all resources both internal and external that the applications access

AIG - Windows 2000 Assessment (8/01 – 9/01)

§ Performed an in-depth technical assessment of AIGFPC current infrastructure assessing its readiness for an upgrade to Windows 2000.  As a follow up to the assessment, created preliminary designs for the Windows 2000 Domain, DNS, Time Services, Wins, and the site structure.

§ Performed as a consultant for Application Architecture; Application design and Database design to build robust and scalable Internet/intranet applications

§ Key member of the team responsible for an enterprise Windows 2000/Active Directory design and deployment

§ Key member of the team responsible for an enterprise LDAP implementation. Played a large role in building Aetna’s extranet, which utilizes client certificates, heterogeneous cross-server authentication and access to many of Aetna resources for employees and partners.  This effort saved thousands in the first year alone.   This effort utilized an enterprise-wide deployment of Xcert PKI, Netegrity’s SiteMinder, LDAP and NT authentication.
